This week we went to a library that was that was in a college that is near MCAS Miramar. I like that from the library you could see the aircraft even better I saw a C-130, f-18 and one coast guard helicopter. I don’t think I would get a lot of work done there in the library but in the laboratory I probably would be able to. In this laboratory we got to see many things the first thing we did we got separated into three groups. My group saw how mice brains were sliced. How they sliced the mice brains is by freezing them after they froze them like ice they would be able to put this glue on a circular disk thing and would then put the brain on it. After a few seconds of the brain on there it would be stuck and they would attach the disk then they would be able to slice the brain. When we were done with this part of the tour we went with a different person and she showed us a few different place my favorite section on the second part of the tour was right before we got into the dark room because nick wanted to go in first so he did but saw that is was creepy looking so he didn’t go all the way in. I said I will go so I went into the door (it would keep 100% light out) thinking on the other side will be a room that is so dark I can’t see anything and I start to think do I really want to do this? After waiting what seemed to take really long I was able to see the dark room and I was disappointed I really was hoping for the room to be dark and scary especially with nick being to scared to go in but I walk in and wait for the rest of the group to get in. After the rest of the group gets in our tour guide darkens the room even more the glow of the light was a yellowish glow and it looked really cool. Our third tour lady or our last tour lady showed us how they tested their with electricity. I did not get really what was happening but I was able to put some weird liquid into some jello and that was pretty cool.
