The Drone project
In this project we learned about drones and what they are and can be used for and after that we teamed up with a group of three and then we got quad copters after that we named them and learned how to pout thing together we also tried to make them work with a PS 3 controller but we were not able to do that because we use chrome books and chrome books can't do much other than things on the internet that does not need java but when we were done pouting them together we flew them with a app on some ones phone and they were really fast and broke super easy but it was really fun flying and also we choose what thing we wanted to do like flight school, Newton's law's we learned and other things we then made a giant group and my group I think had 4 groups combined and it was really cool.
On This project I am happy that I learned allot of things that I think we will use more than learning about how to read Giant books that has like 800 pages on physics and being lectured on it because we played games about friction and had fun learning.
Something I would change is to ask if I can fly the quad copter more because I only got to fly it once and it was only like 13 seconds because then it crashed and a arm broke but at least I got to fly the big quad copter 2 times because it was really fun and harder to crash because it was slower and if you let go of the controls it would hover in the air. If you wanted to land it you could press a button and it would land it exactly were you took off. Our teams Website

Before the drones we learned about Thrust, Vectors, Drag, Newton's law's and some more I forgot the names of but in the Giant group we had jobs to do and I was the engineer lead I think the title was and all of the Engineer leads learned how to make scale drawings and we had to make it x2 the size of it there was other jobs like troubleshooting, some one who flew it and some more I would of liked to be one who flew it because I love flying things we also leaned what Yaw, Pitch, Roll was and yaw Is like rudder control Pitch is Up and Down or Elevator control and Roll is rolling or ailerons control
